Faith Statement PDF Print E-mail
Although our present focus is primarily in Ukraine we are still actively involved with ministry contacts from years past in ongoing mission work in Mexico, the Philippines, and India.  Through the years Crossover Ministries has reached out to hundreds of pastors and mission points in New York, Jamaica, Mexico, Mongolia, India and the Philippines providing educational and inspirational assistance. Crossover also supports mission work in the State of Louisiana and conducts prison ministry. This we believe:
We believe the Bible is true and that it is the inspired and complete Word of God.
(Deuteronomy 4:1-2; Psalm 19:7-10; Psalm 119:89; Luke 21:33; 2Timothy 3:15-16)
There is only one omniscient, omnipotent, eternally existent and Holy God Who is perfect in unison and reveals Himself in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1:1-3; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:11; John 1:1-3, 14; Hebrews 1:1-3; Matthew 1:18-23; John 4:23; Hebrews 11:6; Revelation 5:9-14)
Jesus Christ- the Son of God
Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life, died vicariously upon the cross atoning for man's sins, was resurrected from the grave, ascended into heaven and is returning again.
(Genesis 3:15; Isaiah 7:14; Luke 2:1-14; John 20:30; Acts 1:10; Acts 2:22-24; Hebrews 1:9-10; Hebrews 10:14)
Salvation is offered by God's grace to all mankind, received by faith in Christ, and the saved are eternally kept by God Himself.
(John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Luke 9:23; John 10:25-26; Acts 16:31, Romans 10:9-10, 13; Ephesians 1:13)
There is one baptism for all believers by God's Holy Spirit placing us in the "Body of Christ;" and water baptism is a symbol of the believer having died to self, been buried with Christ, and raised to live a new life by His power.
(1Corinthians 12:13; Romans 6:4-6; Ephesians 4:4-6; Ephesians 6:13-18; Colossians 1:27-28)
The church is a living organism composed of committed, baptized believers pursuing the edict of Christ.
(Matthew 16:13-18; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 1:20-23; Ephesians 3:9-12; Ephesians 4:1-3; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 10:24-25)
Jesus stated the imperative of evangelism of the lost, and this is the primary mission of every believer in the church.
(Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Romans 1:16; Romans 10:13-15)
The second priority of the church is to educate the saved for the purpose of living in faith and propagating the gospel.
(Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesian 3:14-19; Ephesians 4:11-16; Colossians 1:28-29)
